ceribet Platform Privacy Notice

We at ceribet collect only the information needed to verify your account, process your withdrawals through DANA, e-wallet, mobile banking, local payment, online payment, e-wallet, or direct bank transfer, and keep your account secure on mobile and desktop. This page describes what we collect, how we use it, who has access to it, and what rights you have over your data.

Privacy on ceribet is non-negotiable. When you log into the app on Android or open our site in iOS Safari, your login credentials, payment methods, and betting history are encrypted end-to-end. We do not sell your data to third parties, and we do not share it beyond what is legally required or necessary to operate the service.

Our servers may sit outside Indonesia, but your data is protected by industry-standard SSL/TLS encryption. Know Your Customer (KYC) documents you upload—your ID card, passport, or other government-issued identification—are stored in a segregated, encrypted vault accessible only to ceribet's verification team during the approval process.

What We Collect on ceribet

When you create an account on ceribet, we collect your name, date of birth, email address, and phone number. This information is mandatory to verify your identity and send you important account notifications—deposit confirmations, withdrawal status updates, login alerts if we detect unusual activity.

We also collect your payment method details. If you deposit via QRIS or e-wallet-enabled wallets, we store a token (a reference ID, not your actual card or wallet credentials) so future deposits are faster. Bank transfer deposits require your account number and bank name; we store these securely so your withdrawals process to the correct account.

KYC documents are separate from your login account

Your uploaded ID or passport is stored separately from your betting history and account balance. Only authorized ceribet staff can access verification files, and only during the 24-hour review window. After approval, the image is retained for regulatory compliance but segregated from daily operations.

Behavioural and Device Data on ceribet

We collect minimal behavioural data: which markets you access, how often you log in from a new device, and your general location (country-level only, not precise GPS). This helps us detect account takeover—if someone tries to log in from Jakarta after you logged in from Surabaya seconds earlier, we ask for your 2FA code.

On Android, the ceribet app may request permission to read your device ID and installed apps list. We use the device ID to block account access if the device is flagged for fraud; we never profile your other apps. On iOS, we rely on Safari's built-in privacy features and do not request extra permissions.

How We Use Your Data

ceribet uses your data for three purposes: account security, payment processing, and legal compliance. Your name and ID document verify that you are who you claim; we cross-check this during KYC. Your email and phone are used to send you withdrawal confirmations, deposit status, and two-factor authentication codes. Your payment method details are shared only with our payment processor—a certified partner that handles mobile banking, local payment, online payment, e-wallet, mobile banking, and direct bank transfers on our behalf.

We do not use your data for marketing. We do not build a profile of your income or spending habits. We do not sell your contact details to affiliates or third-party gaming platforms. During major events like Liga 1 season or Idul Fitri holidays, we may send you a notification about a new promotion, but only if you have opted in to notification settings in your account menu.

We collect less data than most social networks and use it far more narrowly. Your account on ceribet is yours alone.

Third-Party Processors and Data Sharing

ceribet shares your data with only two categories of third parties. First, payment processors: companies licensed to handle local payment, online payment, e-wallet, mobile banking, local payment, online payment, e-wallet, mobile banking, local payment, and online payment transactions. These processors receive only your payment method, account number, and transaction amount—never your password or full ID document. Second, regulatory authorities: if Indonesian gambling regulators or law enforcement request your account information via proper legal process, we comply. We notify you unless legally prohibited.

Our infrastructure may use cloud servers operated by global companies (e.g., for app hosting or backup storage). These processors sign data protection agreements obligating them to treat your information as confidential and use it only to provide service to ceribet. We do not permit them to profile or sell your data.

Your Rights and Data Retention on ceribet

You have the right to request a copy of all data we hold about you. Use the support form in your ceribet account menu to ask for a "data export." We will compile a file of your account details, transaction history, and verification documents within 7 days. You also have the right to request deletion of your account, though we will retain transaction records for the minimum period required by law (typically 7 years) to detect fraud and comply with anti-money-laundering regulations.

You can update your email, phone number, and password at any time in your account settings. You can disable push notifications on Android. You can revoke permission for two-factor authentication, though we strongly recommend keeping it enabled for account security. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact ceribet support immediately; we will freeze your account pending a security review.

Cookies on ceribet

When you access ceribet on iOS Safari or on desktop, we use session cookies to keep you logged in and to remember your preferences (e.g., market display language, notification settings). These cookies expire when you close your browser or log out. We use analytics cookies (if enabled) only to measure page load times and identify technical issues; we do not track you across other websites. You can disable cookies in your browser settings; doing so will log you out of ceribet and may slow performance.
